Whether you are applying for a permit or paying a levy, the visit goes faster when you arrive prepared.

• Ask by phone or on the county website which documents are required.
• Carry your original ID and a photocopy.
• Keep receipts and reference numbers together in one folder.

If you are sent away, ask for the requirement in writing so the next visit is the last.
